Alluring Impressions

I am so excited to share with you the Rubber Stamp Retailer/Designer I have for you today....Alluring Impressions and it's creator Amy Erickson!

Amy got her start rubber stamping way back in 1993. She said, " I have dabbled in craft related small businesses since I was a teenager, it was a natural transition to being the owner of a stamp company - in 2006 Alluring Impressions was born." What is really amazing is she does it all....from designing, manufacturing, distribution, site maintenance and more from her home in Anoka, Minnesota! She does have 2 and 4 legged helpers with her venture....but you'll have to check out the About Us page to see just who they are!

I'm sure once you take a peek at the 1,000+ collection of images offered at Alluring Impressions you'll be able to find loads of stamps that suit all of your stamping needs. Everything from Alphabets & Word Stamps, to Nature, People and Travel. This vast array of images is made possible by an amazing line up of artists with a wide and varied range of styles. These artists include in addition to Amy, Gloria Page, Jennifer Schmidt, Jody Poesy, Lucid Dreams, Melanie Sage, Vickie Enkoff and Zanna Hall to name a few. I asked Amy what her best selling line was and she said, "Gloria Page's images are my best selling artist line. Her images were made from stamps that she hand carved herself, and her artwork is fabulous." Be sure to check them out - Gloria Page. Alluring Impressions best selling individual set is - Girlfriends and I can see why...it is one of my favorites as well!

The rubber stamps themselves are sold unmounted in sheets/collections made of the finest quality red rubber and are deeply etched - using 11pt engraving (the deepest in the industry). This makes them especially desirable as they are great for not only stamping on paper but fabrics and in clay as well. All stamp sheets come with an index sheet so no more guessing or trying to make up a sheet yourself! In addition to the stamp sheets, Alluring Impressions also sells for your convenience...EZ Mount Foam Sheets, Acrylic Stamping Blocks, KAI Scissors and other stamping supplies to get you started!

Alluring Impressions is an angel company which encourages their customers to sell their artwork! They try to release new images quarterly and usually release several sheets at a time. When asked about ordering and payments...."Our shopping cart system will process payments via credit card or Paypal. We also accept Checks and money orders via snail mail. We gladly ship internationally. Our shipping is flat rate - there is no wondering how much shipping will cost. Whether you order 4 stamp sheets or 50, it is the same price. (Occasionally we will offer products which are over-sized - the shipping costs for those are always listed in the item description). All of our items are shipped with a delivery confirmation number, and we e-mail you when your package ships every time. Orders are generally processed and mailed out within 3 days (usually quicker!)." Flat Rate Shipping...you just can't beat that!! They do mail internationally!! Please see the information on Canadian and International Shipping.

I asked Amy if there was anything else she cared to pass along to you.....

"Alluring Impressions website is set up with you in mind. You can browse our unmounted rubber stamps by the categories following the menu on the left side of your screen. You can also browse by artist, or you can use our search function by entering keywords.

Besides having over a thousand unmounted rubber stamps, we offer stamp mounting supplies, rubber stamp accessories, rubber stamping clothing and gifts, and don't forget to check out our one of a kind custom order rubber stamp accessory program for your art supplies. You choose the stamp supplies you need, not the products others decide to carry - it is like having a mega stamp store right in you own home!"

Now, let's check out the stamps!!!

Before I begin I wanted to share two things that really stick out in my mind about the stamps offered at Alluring Impressions.

First, the quality of images is amazing. I personally love photo image/photo quality stamps and there are so many available here. Some of my very favorites are found in the Building & House section (found under Travel) - Just look at this Train Station set or Passages! Just seeing the images of these stamps set off so many creative alarm bells! They could be used for such a variety of projects from altered arts, ATC's, cards, scrapbook pages...the possibilities are just endless. Another favorite example of their "photo type" stamped images is Dance. Just look at the year book photos!!!!!!! Oh my, I can think of so many cool techniques to use with that stamp alone it would make all of the other stamps in that set pure gravy!!

The second thing I immediately noticed about Alluring Impression is all of the hard to find themes offered here!! Their Ethnic collections encompass Asian; Eastern/Indian; Egyptian/African/Tribal; Euro/French; Medieval/Renaissance; Mexico/Frida/Latin; and even Native American images! Another hard to find theme in rubber stamps is the Anatomy! I know it sounds odd but these could be used for so many fun themes....just think of adding one of these guys to a birthday card or maybe using these for a fun Halloween party invitation! And if wings are your things you really need to check out the fun assortment they have to offer - Wings. AI also has a fun Metaphysical section with everything from Angels to Mythology and more!

AI has a huge section devoted to People with sub categories such as Ancestors, Children, Families, etc. Of course you know me....I can't pass up mentioning all the fun guy stamps they have!! One of my absolute favorites is Scientist! Isn't that guy with the spectacles awesome! He is just so funny. And the men from the Aristocrat set are all so handsome! Not to leave out the women ~ Good Girls & Bad Girls are great!! And I love the quotes on the Pin-Up Set! Those would be so much fun to use on "girlfriend" cards!!

So many cool stamps such little time....

some fun to go with all these great stamps....

Seriously - it works wonders and even smells good. Try it! *grin*
